Dried Rose Petal Bath Bomb Recipe
These rose petal bath bombs are super simple and easy to make. All you need are a few ingredients and you'll be relaxing in no time at all!
Materials
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup solid coconut oil
- Rose essential oil
- Pink mica powder
- Dried roses
Tools
- Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
- 1 Large mixing bowl
- Bath Bombs molds
Instructions
- Add dry ingredients to a large bowl. Sift or whisk dry ingredients.
- Add mica powder, essential oil and about 1/8 of a cup of the dried roses. (You can put the roses in a food processor to break them down.)
- Whisk everything together. The mixture is ready when it feels like wet sand and you can press the mixture together in your hands and it mold together.
- Add a sprinkle of roses to one mold and add the bath bomb mixture until it is overflowing.
- Add the mixture to the other mold and press the two sides together, using a twisting and grinding motion.
- Gently tap the top of each mold and carefully “pop” the bomb from mold. Spread out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow drying until they are hard.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
- You may need to use your spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to spritz your mixture if it gets too dry as you are adding it to your mold. Give a few spritzes and mix together until it has that wet sand feel again.
